Last week, the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development released new residential construction statistics for September that showed housing starts increase for a fifth consecutive month to reach the highest levels since 2007.
Record low mortgage rates, pent-up demand and movement from densely populated areas are among the catalysts causing the housing market to heat up.
